Since our business began, LEX Reception has donated 1% monthly to partnership organizations working to save endangered species. Over the years, our giving-back partnerships have had an incredible and lasting impact, helping more animals at risk to beat the clock.

But our giving back pledge is changing, to support not only life on Earth – but Earth itself.

Our biggest ally in the race against the climate crisis is some of the world’s oldest inhabitants—trees. Ancient trees, like coastal redwoods and giant sequoias, are some of our planet’s most crucial resources. Yet, these majestic trees are disappearing at an alarming rate, with about 98% of old-growth redwood forests already lost. Every minute counts, and every tree matters.

Losing trees—the lungs of our planet—threatens ecosystems, endangers wildlife, and limits the planet’s ability to regulate carbon. But we can take action today to secure the forests of tomorrow.

Save minutes for your firm, give millennia to our planet

LEX Reception plants one tree for every customer (and every employee) every month. With your continued support, we can contribute to global reforestation and ecosystem restoration.

But we can’t do it alone. We will partner with specialist tree-planting organizations and experts around the world. Each month, we will select one tree-planting partner to support—learning from them, amplifying their story, and effecting change that lasts millennia beyond our lifetime.

Archangel Ancient Tree Archive

Our first partnership is truly inspiring. We will be working with David Milarch, co-founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive (AATA). David’s mission is to clone and replant the world’s oldest trees. After a near-death experience in 1991, David has set out to propagate the genetics of ancient trees, creating “living libraries” of these giants and reforesting areas worldwide.

Check out David Milarch’s incredible story in the video below.

Why this matters

Coastal redwoods once covered more than 2 million acres along the California coast, but today, only a small portion of this awe-inspiring landscape remains. By cloning and replanting these ancient trees, AATA proves that restoration is achievable and contributes to a healthier, more sustainable future.

Every month you work with LEX, you contribute to a lasting legacy and help heal our planet. Thank you for your support. We are excited to share more of our tree-planting updates with you throughout the year.
